COVID-19 Protocols

Masks

*All visitors to our office will be required to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status; patients may be asked to remove their masks once in the assessment/treatment room depending on the plan of care in place to maximize diagnostics and treatment. Staff will be masked-up at all times.⁣⁣

Social Distancing

* Only patients will be admitted into the clinic, no siblings or others. For our youngest patients, one parent/caregiver will be permitted into the session if necessary. Should another parent/caregiver wish to participate, this can be done virtually via our HIPAA compliant Zoom platform. Simply ask your child’s therapist for a meeting invite.

⁣⁣* Please wait outside of the building until your child’s appointment start/end time; our waiting room is closed and we are only allowing a maximum of 10 people in the clinic at one time (including all support staff).

⁣⁣* Please do not wait in the hallway outside of our clinic during your child’s appointment as we have other practices, businesses, and clients to protect. In addition, this is also a fire hazard.

⁣⁣* We require anyone entering the clinic to have their hands washed prior to entering the clinic (there is a bathroom down the hall).*If your child, or anyone in your household, has been exposed to someone who is positive for COVID19 in the past 14 days, do not come to the clinic for in-person sessions.  Please contact your child’s therapist to discuss your child’s return to in-person sessions.

**If your child or anyone in your household has experienced any of the following symptoms in the past 7 days:

  • Fever or chills
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Cough
  • Fatigue
  • Body aches
  • Headache
  • Runny nose
  • Sore throat
  • Loss of taste or smell
  • Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea

Please contact your child(ren)’s therapist before coming to the clinic for in-person sessions.  We can discuss your situation and determine the best timeline for the child’s return to the clinic. We continue to offer the option of telehealth via zoom for therapy.  This is a great alternative if you aren’t able to make it to the clinic due to illness or exposure.  If this is something you are interested in, please verify with your insurance carrier that they will cover sessions via telehealth.
